The accessibility of technological knowledge should not be the determining factor for competition between companies. Unfortunately, that is something we see happening more and more in the field of 3D printing. In 2018, Tamara van der Wal, founder of InnoCourse, decided to do something about it.
“After my studies (engineer of information and communication technology) I became fascinated with 3D printing. At that time there were no ready-made printers on the market, so I decided to build a 3D printer myself. Even before my own printer was ready, I was offered a job at a 3D printer manufacturer. Here I was able to combine my love for the printers with my profession: software development. Among other things, I worked on software to prepare 3D models for printing, software to manage the 3D printing process and software to manage large quantities of 3D printers. I have seen the world of 3D printing change considerably, but a number of problems are still unsolved. Each individual company is still expected to reinvent the wheel. Companies and people must find their way in a total chaos of technologies, possibilities and manufacturers. With the founding of InnoCourse I want to make knowledge accessible so that companies can find their own way through the jungle of possibilities in the field of 3D printing. Organizations must be able to get ahead through entrepreneurship and innovativeness. The accessibility of technological knowledge should not be a determining factor by itself."
InnoCourse only employs people who have a lot of experience in the field of 3D printing. The course information and advice from InnoCourse are independent and objective. We are not affiliated with any other party, nor do we receive any form of commission.
